The Warrior Group Unveiled

The third episode concluded with a major cliffhanger and revealed the first table of characters who will branch out from the primary party to undertake their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

With a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at one table would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might look out of place, but the events of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal first encounter with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, striking the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to sell off.

The antagonist then paid off his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, above the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each member has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The adventurer has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could assist the party reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to The savior for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The healer defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the antagonist.
