The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
